This hotel was a lovely retreat, located just steps from a pristine beach. The rooms were well-kept and comfortable, but there was room for improvement regarding lighting. My stay at Mount Plaisir Estate was an unforgettable experience. Watching the Leatherback turtles nesting and hatching right on the beach was truly amazing. The setting is rustic but comfortable, with great food and a friendly atmosphere. However, getting to the hotel took almost 3 hours from the airport, and the beach is not really for swimming. Despite this, the unique experiences outweighed any minor inconveniences.
We had an unforgettable anniversary at this hotel, where the entire experience was flawless from start to finish. The staff was incredibly attentive and went out of their way to make us feel special, even surprising us with beautiful swan decorations in our room upon arrival. The ambiance was absolutely lovely, and the buffet offered a wide array of delicious options that left us eager for more. However, for guests looking for larger pool space or more affordable drink options, those might be considered drawbacks.
